"X" 32nd Trench Mortar Battery - 4th November 1918

On the 4th November 1918 the men in this community were killed when the gun pit they were in was hit by a shell which blue up the whole of the ammunition. They died together and are now remembered together. John Loynes Stevens, one of the men, is my ancestor.
