William Wheeler was my great grandfather. His service record lists a single disciplinary -- his arrest for drunkeness on 5 May 1916 by Lance Corporal Loughman and Acting Corporal Hastings. William had his pay suspended for 2 weeks. This small community reunites the three people involved in this everyday military incident.
