Grandchildren of Mary Booth, born in Stone, Staffordshire around 1831. Mary gave birth to Harriet Booth in 1856 in Meaford, Stone, Staffordshire. She married John Samuel Harding in 1862, and then married Herbert Salt in 1866. She gave birth to Emily Mary Salt in 1866 in Dilhorne. Emily Mary married William Downing and had 9 children, 2 of whom (Harry & Herbert) were killed in action. Harriett Booth married Joseph Samuel Wright. One of their sons (William) was killed in action.
