Remembering the lives of those who worked for London & Provincial Bank Ltd. The London & Provincial Bank Ltd head office was at 3 Bank Buildings, Lothbury. The bank amalgamated with the London & South Western Bank at the end of 1917 to form London, Provincial & South Western Bank, which was then acquired by Barclays Bank Ltd in October 1918. As the combined bank had a legal existence of only a few months, the distinction between the personnel and to some extent the businesses of the two banks remained for many purposes during that period. Further information about the people in this community may also be available in the Barclays Group Archives. See https://www.archive.barclays.com/ for further information, including their contact details.
