This community remembers the contribution made during WWI by the families of Eton Wick. Today the village is in the county of Berkshire but previously in Buckinghamshire. Sitting on the Thames not far from Windsor, 'the Wick' was originally a small Group of dwellings housing shoemakers, tailors and other workers of Eton college. The village has benefited from donations and contributions from many scholars and masters of the college throughout it's history.
