Christ's Hospital (Bluecoat School) - Roll of Honour

Christ's Hospital (Bluecoat School) - Roll of Honour

Remembering the lives of pupils and staff of Christ's Hospital school who died in WW1. (See the separate community for those who served and survived.) Originally based in London and Hertfordshire, in 1902 all the boys from both the London and Hertford schools transferred to a new site in Horsham, and the school at Hertford became a girls-only school. (In 1985 the Hertford site was closed and the girls transferred to Horsham.) The main source for names in this community is a book entitled "In Their Own Words" Christ's Hospital and The Great War, by David Miller, which includes a comprehensive Roll of Honour, and also stories about many of the men named.
