Men of the Manhood - Birdham School

The lives of men who attended the school in Birdham on the Manhood peninsula in West Sussex. Manhood National School, later known as Birdham C. of E., was founded in 1816 to provide elementary education in Birdham, Earnley, East and West Wittering and West Itchenor. This community is a subset of the Men of the Manhood community (https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/community/748), which covers those who were born, lived, worked, or had a family link to the parishes of Birdham, Earnley, East Wittering, Selsey, Sidlesham, West Itchenor, and West Wittering.
