Remembering members of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps) a British independent all-female charity which was formed in 1907 originally to provide rapid first aid to injured soldiers by travelling on horseback. In WW1, they drove ambulances and originally the Army wanted nothing to do with them so they supported the Belgians and French.
