HMS Acasta at the Battle of Jutland
HMS Acasta was an 'Acasta Class' destroyer that was attached to the 3rd Battle Squadron at Jutland. She was under the command of Lieutenant Commander John Ouchterlony Barron. HMS Acasta was hit by two 5.9in shells from SMS Derfflinger, which left her with six dead and one wounded, and unable to stop or steer. She was eventually taken in tow by HMS Nonsuch reaching Aberdeen two days after the battle, badly damaged.
