Lives of the First World War

HMS Porpoise of the 4th Destroyer Flotilla was damaged in action on 31 May 1916 with two sailors killed, and another two wounded. After makeshift repairs to propulsion and steering, she was subsequently escorted back to the Tyne by HMS Garland. This Community includes all those who served in HMS Porpoise at Jutland.
