Argentina - Buenos Ayres Western Railway Limited

Remembering members of the Anglo-Argentine community employed by the Buenos Ayres Western Railway Limited who served in WW1. (Buenos Ayres is an old form of the spelling of the name of the Argentinian city of Buenos Aires.) The primary source for this community is a web site created by Sylvester Damus, the author of "Who Was Who in Argentine Railways". The site contains detailed lists of Argentine railways staff who served, and further information about them, at https://www.fcbap.ca/railways/Casualties.htm and https://www.fcbap.ca/railways/volunteers.htm . Sylvester Damus can be contacted via his site, and can provide more complete biographical sketches of many of the persons indexed. His support with the creation of this community on Lives of the First world War is very gratefully acknowledged.
