HMS Hercules at the Battle of Jutland
HMS Hercules was a 'Colossus Class' battleship in the 6th division of the 1st Battle Squadron at Jutland. She was commanded by Lewis Clinton-Baker. She engaged enemy battlecruisers from 19.00-19.15 achieving hits with her fifth and sixth salvoes. She fired 98 rounds from her main armament during the whole engagement. She was straddled and hit by splinters, but sustained no damage or casualties. This Community will endeavour to identify those that served on HMS Hercules at Jutland.
