Remembering the lives of employees of Barclays Bank and their constituent banks who died at the Battle of the Somme between 2nd July 1916 and 18th November 1916, and are commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial for those with no known grave. [The constituent banks included are Lancashire & Yorkshire Bank, Bank of Liverpool & Martins (including Bank of Liverpool, Martins Bank, Cattle Trade Bank, Cocks Biddulph & Co, Equitable Bank, Halifax Commercial Banking Co, and Palatine Bank), London & Provincial Bank, London & South Western Bank, Union Bank of Manchester, and United Counties Bank.]
