British Military Casualties of the Easter Rising 1916

This community respectfully remembers the men of the Crown and Dominion Military Forces and the Volunteer Training Corps who lost their lives as a result of the Easter Rising, whether in action against the uprising, from wounds sustained or from accident or "friendly fire". I have identified 119 military casualties plus a further 5 members of the Irish Volunteer Training Corps but as with all lists drawn from multiple sources there may well be errors or omissions, if you know of any who should be added please email me at [email protected]. I have cross checked against the excellent irishmedals.org website but our lists vary slightly, I have found and added a few extra men but could not find any supporting evidence for James Nolan of the VTC so have not included him. As many of these men did not serve abroad they didn't qualify for war medals and have had to be manually added to lives.
