It is surmised that the photo shows a group of the "old 14th" who had been drafted to the parent unit (1st Btn South Lancs who remained in India the whole war) and were possibly at Hebban Camp in Bangalore (South India). Four of the men were later posted to the MGC. Taken February 1918 outside the YMCA in Bangalore. Charles H Barker, Frank Marshall, Hubert Kershaw, William Armstrong, Hubert Landless, John H Pickup.
