South Hiendley War Memorial

South Hiendley War Memorial

The War Memorial sits on the main road running through South Hiendley opposite the old Methodist Church. The inscription reads 'To the glory of God and in the memory of the men of this village who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918'. It then lists 14 fallen and below is inscribed "Let those who come after see to it that their names be not forgotten" and below that 7 men listed from World War 2. If you are having trouble adding or editing info for any of the men on this memorial or would like to contribute to our group you can contact me at [email protected]
