The War Memorial sits behind St James Church and is accessed via School Lane onto Cemetery Road. The inscription reads 'This Monument is erected to the glorious memory of the following men of Ryhill and Havercroft who have paid the supreme sacrifice, for God, King and country, in the Great War. 1914-1918. Lest we forget'. It then lists 39 fallen. If you are having trouble adding or editing info for any of the men on this memorial or would like to contribute to our group you can contact me at [email protected]
