Lives of the First World War

This community consists of the 180 names, listed on the Lychgate outside All Saints Church, that qualify for inclusion on this site. There are 184 named on the memorial and a biography of each person can be read at Shropshire Archives reference-https://www.shropshirearchives.org.uk/learning/world-war-one-online-resources/wellington-remembers/at Shropshire Archives. BI Thomas, DE Shuker and A Thomas have not been included in this community as their identity has not been conclusively confirmed. Laura Birch was a civilian and will not meet the criteria for inclusion on this site. All are however honoured and remembered. You will note that William W Robertson has 2 entries in this community, reflecting the two references to him in Lives of the First World War data. One is marked 'duplicate' by LFWW, confirming that they relate to the same person.
