Lives of the First World War

The Legion Magazine has a long tradition of honouring those Canadians who have served their country by publishing in print short death notices for Royal Canadian Legion members who were Canadian war veterans. Volunteers have put together and will continue to update a Last Post database that currently goes back to January 1985. It currently contains about 6,000 names of those who served in WWI. The community is intended as a finding aid for Lives not currently remembered and an additional resource for remembered Lives.
