Chigwell School

Chigwell School

Remembering the 79 boys and 2 masters from Chigwell School who died in WW1. A third master, who taught German for a term in 1913, enlisted in the German Army upon his return to Germany and was also killed in action. It is believed he was the basis for the similar story in Goodbye Mr Chips. This Community is a work in progress and some names need confirming.
