The Long Service and Good Conduct medal was awarded for 18 years of continuous good service (known also as "undetected crime"). Nothing recorded on the Regimental Conduct Sheet of the man's service record was a prerequisite. This is a list of recipients of the medal who were serving at that point in time in the South Wales Borderers. The medals in this group were awarded from 1913 to 1932 inclusive. I have researched all of these men, a large number of whom have been located on the 1911 Census. This has been researched since 2010, and my data appears on both my website, and I have granted permission for it to also appear on LOTFWW, hence this community.
