Macclesfield Grammar School War Memorials (IWM Ref 10013)

Men named on the original Macclesfield Grammar School war memorial, or on the additional plaque, recently dedicated. At the time of the First World War, Macclesfield Grammar School was housed in two buildings: the original Grammar School, and the Modern School, in King Edward Street. Old boys from both schools are named on the memorial. The schools were later amalgamated and now known as the King's School, Macclesfield, Cheshire.
