The cemetery contains the graves of 98 Commonwealth dead of the 1914-18 war. Also within the cemetery, taking the form of screen walls, are the Kingston (Up Park Camp) Memorials Nos. 1 and 2 and the Kingston (Bumper Hall/May Pen) Memorial which commemorate servicemen who are buried in cemeteries or on private property in Jamaica, but whose graves have become impossible to maintain. (There are separate communities for those memorials). // Some men were buried under their service numbers of the Jamaica War Contingent (British West Indies Regiment) - because they did not leave the island following enlistment they would have been regarded as 'home service' without entitlement for a British War medal. Includes: R Ogitrie (Ogilvie? Guthrie?) WIR August 1918 [no GRO army or Jamaican death cert for this name], C Waite (Wait? Waithe? White?) JWC 11660 July 1917 [no Jamaican death cert for this name], WIR 7050 Simeon Wright [no Jamaican death cert for this name] who I believe has been mistaken for WIR 6645 Samuel Wright. Still to add: J Henry JWC 31 January 1917, [this could be Austin or Justin Henry JWC 5491 30 or 31 January 1917 (see May Pen memorial)].
