Canadian women serving with the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD)

A community to identify women who served as V.A.D's with the British Army, and do not have Canadian attestation records. They were seeded from medal records , and have now been identified from a search of the Canadian Great War Project data base. Each Life is linked to a record, thanks to the volunteers who researched the lives of these women.
