Remembering those born in Belize, formerly known as British Honduras. Although located on the Central American mainland, it was commonly referred to under the collective terms of The Caribbean or British West Indies. Belize was garrisoned during the First World War by the British Honduras Territorial Force, and in the region of 520 men served with the British West Indies Regiment.
