Where possible others names will be researched, those who served from Nuneham Courtenay, including those living in Nuneham Courtenay in 1911 and those born there. The memorial is located in All Saints Church - South Oxfordshire OS Grid Reference SU 542983 Wall mounted white stone tablets WW1 tablet, above additional WW2 tablet below.Incised gilt lettering. WW 1 tablet topped by broken pediment. Small carved stone figures at top of tablet. Cherub's face at centre base. Inscription This tablet is erected in grateful memory and loving pride of the brave men from Nuneham Courtenay who gave their lives for the honour and safety of their country in the Great War (names) 1939/45 (names).
