St Mary`s Church, Raw Lane, Illingworth, Halifax, West Yorkshire is now closed. Attached to the church is a memorial to two men buried in the churchyard. It is proposed to commemorate the men in Halifax (Stoney Wood) graveyard. From the Commonwealth War Graves Commission - Please note that the Commission is in the process of producing a special memorial headstone to commemorate these casualties here as it is not possible to mark their actual graves in Illingworth (St. Mary) Churchyard.
