Desert Island Discs

Desert Island Discs

Desert Island Discs is a radio programme first aired on the BBC Forces Programme on 29 January 1942. Each week a guest, called a 'castaway' is asked to choose recordings, a book and a luxury item to take with them if they were cast away on a desert Island. This community seeks to identify those 'castaways' who served during the First World War.
