Lady Carnarvon's Hospital for Officers

Lady Carnarvon's Hospital for Officers

A private hospital unit that operated initially from Lady Carnarvon's family home, Highclere Castle, then relocated to Bryanstone Square, London. Lady Almina Herbert, 5th Countess Carnarvon, nursed some of the men herself. This community remembers Lady Almina, the staff and where possible, the patients treated at her hospital.
