In support of the event at Dundas Archives and Museum on April 21, 2018 this community identifies Sikh Canadians in the First World War who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. The records have now been digitised and can be found on line. Sunta Gougersingh, originally from Punjab, India, who enlisted in Montréal, killed in action 19 October 1915. Buckam Singh of BC, originally from Punjab, India,he died in Kitchener, Ont, 27 August 1919. Hari Singh who enlisted in Toronto, and was originally from Punjab, India. Harnom Singh, alias Harry Robson, of Chilliwack, BC. John Singh of Winnipeg, born in India. He served in the 108th Overseas Battalion. Lashman Singh, born in India, and enlisted at Smiths Falls, Ont. He served with the 75th battalion and was killed in action on 24 October 1918. Ram Singh of Grand Forks, BC, born in Punjab, India. He enlisted in Vancouver. Sewa Singh of Vancouver, born in Dinjutah, India. Waryam Singh, born in Punjab, India, and enlisted at Smiths Falls, Ont.
