A 2015 portraiture project run by Co- Create Arts and Cambridge International Arts. This was a First World War centenary project working with the arts to create a legacy for the people from Britain’s dominions and colonies who fought alongside the British. Three British artists worked with WWI historians to unearth images of "forgotten heroes". Taking inspiration from the photographs, the artists produced new portraits to honour and commemorate their service. ARTISTS: Felicity Borwick, Janice Wilkins and Caroline Jaine. RESEARCH: Alex Calvo and We Were There Too.
