Lives of the First World War

The community was originally created to remember the lives and families of the men with connections to the village of Saxlingham Nethergate. It has been expanded to include Saxlingham Thorpe so that more men can be remembered. The late Janet Capon and Jan Fox undertook detailed research which is linked to individual soldiers and is acknowledged with thanks. Additional Lives have been identified from a list of men serving September 1915 published in a local newspaper also from this website. This remembrance is dedicated to my grandmother Grace who introduced me to the village.but shared very little about her brothers Ralph Reginald and Egbert White.
