Colonel Gerald Onslow died in 1909, and his wife Flora then lost three sons in the War, Brian at Gallipoli in 1915, Arthur after Jutland in 1916 and Milo in 1917 in Mesopotamia. Flora herself lived to the age of 92, dying in 1951. Eric was taken prisoner in France in 1914, survived the War and died in Australia in 1969.
