Panels 43 and 45 on the Menin Gate list those men of the Northamptonshire Regiment that fell in the Ypres Salient. 7th Battalion was one of a number of the Northamptonshire Regiments' Battalions that fought in the area, famed for its CO, Lt Col E R Mobbs DSO falling on the first day of the 3rd Battle of Ypres in Shrewsbury Forest. He and 72 of his officers and men are listed on the memorial having died on the 31 July 1917. This community lists the 108 men of the 7th Battalion that fell in the Salient during the period 1915 to 1917.
