The Together Trust - Manchester and Salford Boys’ and Girls’ Refuges and Homes

In proud and loving memory of old boys and staff of the Together Trust who served, fought or fell in World War One, 1914-1918. The charity was founded in Manchester and Salford in 1870 and originally supported boys and girls living on its streets. Then known as the Manchester and Salford Boys’ and Girls’ Refuges and Homes, it provided many different homes and services to the community. Further information about the men featured in this community, and the charity itself, may be found in the Together Trust’s archive. See https://www.togethertrust.org.uk/who-we-are/your-family-history for more information. The help and support of the Together Trust in building this community on Lives of the First World War is very gratefully acknowledged.
