This community is for the Roll of Honour in the chapel of St John's College in Houghton, South Africa. The inscriptions only have an initial and surname and not much else unless there was a military decoration too. It is not a lot to go on, but surprisingly enough I should be able to tie in quite a few names to Lives. Unfortunately some will always be a mystery unless by some miracle I find a key to the names. There are 61 names in total with 12 having no positive connection to any single person. Bear in mind that the men could have served with not only South African Forces, but with British or Australian Forces.
