African commemoration of the West Indies Regiments: WIR and BWIR

Egypt (145) Tanzania (70) Freetown memorial Sierra Leone (12) Kenya (8) South Africa (1) // Plus Candidates for the In From the Cold Project (11) found during the course of my research using the IWM Lives of the First World War archive, who qualify for commemoration provided they died within the dates for the First World War - 4th August 1914 to 31st August 1921. There is hopefully sufficient information to get these men remembered by headstones in Cameroon and Tanzania, or being added to the memorial in Freetown, Sierra Leone // complete
