Auxiliary Indian Battery

Auxiliary Indian Battery

Although showing on LOTFWW as Auxiliary Indian Battery Comparison with C.T Robbie's book on the Anglo-Indian Force lists these men as Anglo-Indian Force Artillery. Based on my research comparing service records at National Archives with the lists in Robbie's book, these men served with the Anglo-Indian Force Artillery in Mesopotamia. “The Anglo Indian Force” by Charles Thain Robbie. It is held in the collection of the India Office Records: L/MIL/17/5/4318 accessed as microfilm IOR NEG 50256 (at the British Library, London). The muster rolls are contained in the following pages. Anglo-Indian Force Artillery: p.12, 14, 15 Artillery additions p.52-54.
