The lives of men associated with the village and parish of East Wittering (including Bracklesham) on the Manhood peninsula in West Sussex. This is a subset of the Men of the Manhood community (https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/community/748), which covers those who were born, lived, worked, or had a family link to the parishes of Birdham, Earnley, East Wittering, Selsey, Sidlesham, West Itchenor, and West Wittering. East Wittering is one of 53 ‘Thankful Villages’, where all those from the village who served in the armed forces in WW1 survived.
