NCOs and Men of the 82nd Bty RFA who were inside Kut during the siege and if not killed or exchanged were marched into a terrible captivity under the Turkish from which few returned alive in 1918. for example only 12 of the 114 names addded so far seem to have survived ie 1 in 10.
