Massage Therapy in the Great War

Massage Therapy in the Great War

Linking all those listed as masseuses, members of the Military Massage Services for various countries and others known to have worked in this capacity in WWI. Massage therapy became a recognised and "respectable" profession for women in WWI. Eventually it was recognised as a specific branch of physiotherapy which led to the global organisation of the profession and standards of treatment.
