Holmfirth Secondary School
Holmfirth Technical Institute was opened in 1894 becoming Holmfirth Technical Institute and Secondary School in 1907. After WW1, a memorial plaque was raised to those pupils who had perished in the war. In 1932, when a new secondary school for the valley was built at Honley, the memorial plaque was moved and now occupies a prime place in the foyer of that building. This Community presents the lifestories of those pupils listed on the memorial
