Lives of the First World War

This Community presents the lifestories of those men commemorated on the war memorial of Messrs Vickerman & Sons, Thongsbridge Mills, West Yorkshire. A prominent local employer, the firm erected a war memorial those those employees who died in WW1. Although the firm and mill no longer exist, the war memorial survives on what would have been the office building in the yard opposite Donaldson's Vets. Miry Lane, Thongsbridge. The firm ceased trading in 1938.
