To remember those Other Ranks who were in the Medical services under siege inside Kut and then PoWs of the Turkish thereafter. Most were lucky enough to be exchanged in August/Sep 1916 but the rest remained in captivity until the end of the war. There was little that they could do in practice because of the absence of medecines.
