West Indies: issues with enlistment in the regular army
Men who were denied enlistment in the regular army, enlisted under special conditions as 'Aliens' (same category used for non-British citizens), compulsorily transferred to the British West Indies Regiment, experienced unfair treatment or discharged for dubious reasons. I have also found three mariners who were discharged under Para 392 iii(c) KR Authority GOC. Mersey Defences No. 62687/276 d/ 21.7.15, but have yet to find why this regulation applied to them.
