North Bradley is a village near Trowbridge, Wiltshire. The parish includes Yarnbrook and Brokerswood. Identical WW1 Memorial plaques are in St Nicholas Church and North Bradley Baptist Church, but not all the men who died are included on the memorial plaques. Also, one man named on the plaques has not been identified from among many of the same or similar name who died in service; John J Allen. Those that this researcher thinks most likely are included in the community Bridget M’s working community. Please note that a few men are included here to help future researchers; they were identified as connected to North Bradley in the book 'Trowbridge Soldiers' and the associated website, but I have not been able to find any reliable record that links them to the parish. The partner community 'North Bradley Survivors and Home Service' collects individuals discovered while researching the men who died. It has not been possible to carry out as much research on them as those who died.
