Prvt John Alexander of 353rd RGA DorsetCutting from the newspaper reporting of his death in 1917. Leaving behind mother Margaret and father William and three brothers and one sister. He died during the battle of Paschendaele on Hill 61. He was a gunner of a 6" Howitzer. I visited his grave on the centenary of his death.
