Frederick Harding and his PlatoonPicture shows members of XVI Platoon , D Company, 17th Battalion, Manchester Regiment, from the 'Manchester City Battalions Book of Honour', published in 1916. Frederick Harding was a member of the platoon and is in the photograph. Unfortunately the names are listed alphabetically rather than according to position in the photograph so it is not known which of the soldiers is Frederick Harding.
