Captain James Donaldson is sitting in the first row second person from the right side. Tommy Byers is also in this photo and he is standing behind Captain James Donaldson second row on the end far right with one man in front of him and three people standing behind him.

One of my most favorite photos from my album.Here is another photo from my photo album with Captain James Donaldson with other soldiers of the 9th Battalion Black Watch Royal Highlanders. Captain James Donaldson was in the 7th Battalion Black Watch before he had to transfer into the 9th Battalion. Captain James Donaldson joined on May 11th 1917.Contributed by:
