Newspaper article mentioning V.C. recommendationArticle from the local Argus around December 1915 advising of his sister's wedding-Ethel Louise Edgecombe to Sgt Reginald Chave Parsons (RASC) on 2 December 1915, and it mentions that Sapper Edgecombe has been recommended for the V.C. for "a grand act of pluck at the Dardanelles. He is now in hospital". He does not appear to have received the medal.Contributed by:
